It is a building that was located at the intersection of 188 Street and Audubon Avenue in Brooklyn. Snake I and Stitch (graffiti artists) founded Writer’s Corner in this building, turning the pink walls of the building in a color canvas.

There went the best authors of Manhattan, the Bronx and Brooklyn to meet, and if the time was right, to go out and paint.

In there, the inexperienced painters could see their masters. Only the best authors of Manhattan were considered privileged enough to add “Corner WC 188″ (Writers Corner 188) to their signatures. Writer’s Corner would be the nucleus of United Graffiti Artists.
